The Unarrived Suffering is Worth Avoiding – Authentic Sanskrit Tattoos!

Jani, from USA, wanted two of the sutras from Patanjali Yoga Sutra as her Sanskrit Tattoo with a custom design. The Patanjali Yoga Sutra is the famous treatise on the ancient field of study of Yoga.

One sutra says, ‘The suffering that has not yet arrived, is worth avoiding.’ [PYS 2:16] It is a great reminder that whatever you can do within your karma sphere of influence, it is your own responsibility to avoid suffering by having good life choices.

The second sutra says, “Mental modifications are restrained by practice and non attachment.” [PYS 1:12]

This is a shoulder tattoo handwritten in a circular design with a large OM in the center. A beautiful tattoo inspired by deep Yoga philosophy.

Thank you, Jani, for giving me the privilege to help you with your Sanskrit Tattoo – the translation and the writing, thus making me part of your tattoo journey.
